Shellness is a small community located on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, England. It is situated in the north east of the island, close to the Swale estuary and the Isle of Sheppey's northern coast. The community is home to a number of local businesses, including a caravan park, and the Shellness Lighthouse.

Shellness was originally a fishing village, and it was in this capacity that it was first recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. In the following centuries, the area's primary industry was fishing, although it also became a popular destination for smugglers. The village was also a popular holiday destination for Victorian visitors to Sheppey, and its popularity endured until the advent of mass tourism in the twentieth century.

Today, Shellness is a quiet and peaceful community, with a population of around 500 people.
